Palace orders remote work in 15 areas amid rains

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has ordered government offices in 15 areas to implement alternative work arrangements on Tuesday, August 18, due to continuous rain brought by the southwest monsoon. The areas covered are the National Capital Region, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro.
