Padres predicted to trade hard-throwing reliever not named Mason Miller

Over the next week or so, the San Diego Padres will undoubtedly receive calls from rival executives with interest in closer Mason Miller. Whether the Padres and president of baseball operations, A.J. Preller, are willing to trade Miller is another story. A deal of that magnitude would likely require a large haul of prospects and at least one proven Major League contributor. And while the Padres aren't clear sellers, they are trending in the wrong direction. San Diego is 4-6 in its last 10 games and four games out of an NL Wild Card spot.
