But according to one part of P&O Cruises' alcohol policy, this could add an extra £20 to your bill.‌P&O Cruises allows guests aged 18 and over to bring up to one litre of wine or champagne when they first board the ship. However, those who choose to drink their own bottle in a dining room, restaurant or lounge face a corkage fee per bottle, per occasion.‌This charge is applied to the passenger's onboard account, meaning it is not necessarily something holidaymakers have to pay straight away.
