Over 70% of Ukraine’s Residential Buildings Ready for 2026-27 Winter Season

Ukraine has prepared more than 70% of the housing planned for the 2026-27 heating season, according to Minister of Recovery, Infrastructure and Transport, Mykola Kalashnyk on Friday, Aug. 21. Nearly HR. 6.8 billion (about $152.36 million) has been allocated for preparation works and repairs as authorities seek to protect energy infrastructure from Russian attacks.
