Over 11,000 applications received for 7,680 affordable flats in Hyderabad in 7 days

People from districts outside Core Urban Region (CURE) too have called to check if they too can apply for the houses in Hyderabad. Over 11,000 applications were received for Telangana Government’s Indiramma Houses (flats) in Hyderabad (CURE) limits till Monday early afternoon, since launch of the scheme on July 20. The last date to apply is August 10.Out of the proposed 1 lakh houses in Core Urban Region (CURE) in one year, the government announced to construct 7,680 flats in 16 Assembly constituencies in the first phase of the scheme. The Telangana Housing Board in its official brochure stated that a lottery would be conducted if the number of applications exceed the number of houses constructed.
