Oregon teen builds free platform to help students find research mentors

Inspired by her own struggles during a research internship, Riya Velhal, a driven high school junior, established StratScholar. This innovative initiative is dedicated to providing mentorship and resources that empower young researchers, particularly those in middle and high schools. By fostering accessible research experiences and honing critical research and communication skills, StratScholar ensures that students are supported throughout their research journeys.
