‘Only a Madman’ Would Say Sending Patriots to Ukraine Weakens Poland, Polish Minister Says

Poland has no plans yet to transfer Patriot batteries to Ukraine, Deputy Defense Minister Cezary Tomczyk said, dismissing opposition claims that such a move would leave Poland vulnerable. He argued that intercepting Russian missiles over Ukraine ultimately strengthens Poland’s security, calling the opposing argument “something only a madman would come up with.”
