'Only 3 of 13 exams cancelled': Students on Jharkhand govt's '98% demands met' claim

Protest enters 17th dayNEW DELHI: Jharkhand students protesting irregularities in recruitment exams rejected the Hemant Soren-led government's claim that 98% of their demands have been accepted. They said only three of the 13 exams they wanted cancelled have been scrapped.The students accused the JMM-led government of “spreading lies” and said they would continue their peaceful protest. They have also called for a ‘Vidhan Sabha March’ on Monday and appealed to students, political parties and the public to join the protest.At a presser, a student leader said, “The Jharkhand government is spreading lies that it fulfilled 98 per cent of our demands.
