Onions arrive from Nashik to reduce prices

The State government procured the onions utilising the price stabilisation fund, following instructions from the Chief Secretary at a review meeting.The A-grade onions have been obtained by the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) under instructions from the Government of India.A goods train carrying 850 tonnes of onions from Nashik arrived at the Korukkupet Railway Goods Shed on Monday.
