One group of Brits to get a bumper £1,844.32 boost this month from DWP

Some older state pensioners who retired before April 2016 could receive two sets of Additional Pension (AP) payments from the DWP in August 2026, totalling up to £1,844.32 — on top of their regular basic state pension.
