One dead, five missing after Messina building collapses

One person is dead and five others are missing in the rubble after a building collapsed in Messina on Thursday. Firefighters said that they have identified the position of the body of Carmelo Leone, a businessman, in the ruins of the building in the Pistunina area of the Sicilian city which featured both shops and apartments. The missing people are his his sisters, Sara and Rosa, the latter's husband Santino Magazzù and a Sri Lankan domestic worker who was with the family, Lhairu Warnakulasuriya.
