NYC straphanger who held emergency gate open for other riders slashed repeatedly during fight

The 37-year-old man was knifed all over his body when tensions flared with a blade-wielding brute inside the No. 4 train station at West 170th Street and Jerome Avenue in Mount Eden, authorities said.
