Nursing home slammed by watchdog after 'breach of regulations'

Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspectors identified ‘breaches of regulation regarding safe staffing levels’ at Worsley Lodge, on Worsley Road.The home run by national care firm HC-One Limited looks after around 44 elderly people and was told it falls short in three out of the five inspection areas.Inspectors’ biggest critiques were about staff shortages, which left carers seeming ‘rushed’ and residents left waiting for essentials like breakfast or water.Click here for the latest on Manchester's food & drink scene, gigs and more in our C
