Nrupatunga Literary Award for Sarjoo Katkar

Sarjoo Katkar, writer and chairman of Dr. Da Ra Bendre Trust. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Kannada Sahitya Parishat (KSP) has selected Belagavi-based writer, translator and veteran journalist Sarjoo Katkar for the ‘Nrupatunga Sahitya Prashasti’ award, for his contribution to Kannada literature.The award, instituted by BMTC , carries a reward of ₹7 lakh and a citation. It will be presented at a felicitation event attended by the Chief Minister in Bengaluru in the coming days, said a release by K.A.
