No risk of US troops withdrawing from NATO’s eastern flank, Romanian president says
08 July 2026 Romanian president Nicușor Dan said on Wednesday, July 8, in Ankara, that he does not see a risk of US troops withdrawing from NATO’s eastern flank, implicitly from Romania. The topic of a troop withdrawal has been floated since Donald Trump became president of the United States.
