No evidence of COVID-19 clusters in A.P., says Health Minister

Minister of Health, Medical, and Family Welfare Satya Kumar Yadav said that there is no evidence of COVID-19 spreading in clusters in Andhra Pradesh.In a statement on Monday (August 17, 2026), the Minister said the spread of COVID-19 remains at a low level in the State and that from January 1 to August 15 this year, a total of 2,554 cases were reported across the country, and the State accounted for 74 of these.Out of 74 patients who tested positive for the virus in 17 districts, 56 have recovered and been discharged. Another 10 are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while four are in home isolation. Four deaths have been reported so far.
