NMDC marks 53.15 MT production; targets 60 MT in FY27 and 100 MT by 2030

NMDC Limited Chairman and Managing Director Amitava Mukherjee affirmed the company’s role in mineral security, industrial growth and a self-reliant India, during the Independence Day celebrations at its office here on Saturday.He informed that NMDC recorded 53.15 MT iron ore production and 50.23 MT sales in the 2026 financial year, and became the country’s first mining company to cross 50 MT. The target for 2027 is 60 MT and 100 MT by 2030, he said.The production rose 26% to 15.12 MT in quarter one of FY2027, with sales of 11.73 MT and turnover of ₹6,795 crore.
