Night traffic restrictions on Peenya elevated flyover from July 27

A file photo of Peenya flyover in Bengaluru. | Photo Credit: SUDHAKARA JAIN The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has imposed night-time traffic restrictions on the Peenya Elevated Flyover (Dr. Sri Shivakumara Swamiji Flyover) on National Highway-4 to facilitate asphalt resurfacing works. This is expected to lead to a traffic pile up on Tumakuru Road.According to the traffic advisory, all categories of vehicles travelling towards Bengaluru city on the elevated flyover will be prohibited from using the stretch between July 27 and August 5, daily from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, the restriction will be in force from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.The restriction will apply to the stretch from the Kennametal Widia Upper Ramp to the SRS Down Ramp on the flyover.Vehicles travelling
