Next Two Targets In Socialist Takeover Are Fertile Grounds For Radical Politics

Abdul El-Sayed is battling a tightly contested race for the party’s Senate nomination in Michigan. Francesca Hong, a DSA-backed candidate, wants to capitalize on the socialist momentum and secure the nomination to replace retiring Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers. And while there has been much talk about the candidates themselves, less attention has been paid to the economic conditions in their home states and how those might be fueling the rise of radical, left-wing politics.
