New UK PM to keep 'moving towards closer EU ties', analyst says

Tim Bale, professor of politics at Queen Mary University of London, believes the new UK prime minister, Andy Burnham, will maintain Keir Starmer's policy towards the EU while "not really making a big move on the single market or the customs union".
