New Ryan Field gives Northwestern a spectacular football venue 100 years in the making

In 1925, Northwestern briefly dreamed of building one of the largest stadiums in the nation, then did nothing of the sort. A century later, Northwestern identified a different superlative target for its new stadium. This time, the university might have achieved it.
