New goalkeeper tactical timeout law to be trialled in English football this weekend

English football could trial a new law as soon as this weekend that aims to stop goalkeepers feigning injury to force tactical timeouts, with the FA, Premier League, EFL and WSL all backing the change pending IFAB approval.
