Anyone living across the UK can now "opt-in" to receive free emails or texts which will warn them of high air pollution in their area.‌The new system will allow people to select a location - such as their home, workplace or local park - and they will then receive an alert when air pollution is high, or forecast to be high in that area. You can now sign up for the service, M.E.N. reports.‌It's hoped by the Government that this new system will allow people to act on the information and take steps to reduce their exposure to air pollution, particularly for those living with conditions made worse by poor air qua
