New Acting Health Sec. Edwin Mercado takes oath before Marcos

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday administered the oath of office to newly appointed Acting Health Secretary Edwin Mercado. He also swore in Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho. The oath-takings in Malacañang were held a day after their appointments were announced by Palace Press
