Never mind socialism — the rebellious kids are all conservative and love America

For years, my classmates and I have been taught that rebellion means rejecting everything that came before us. Question authority. Tear down institutions. Challenge traditions. Distrust capitalism. Mock patriotism. Treat faith as outdated, the family as optional, and America as something to apologize for instead of celebrate. That script isn’t rebellious anymore.
