NCT Wish’s Japanese single goes platinum

NCT Wish earned platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan for its single “Yo-i-don!/Boy Meets Girl,” the organization said Tuesday. The single consists of two summery Japanese-language tracks: upbeat tune “Yo-i-don!” and a remake of the 1994 hit by Japanese group TRF, “Boy Meets Girl.” It surpassed 250,000 shipments, a first for the NCT subunit.
