NBI nabs lawyer over robbery-extortion, cybercrime complaints

MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested a lawyer for allegedly trying to extort P1 million from her two clients, who are siblings, in San Pedro, Laguna, by claiming the payment would keep them safe from syndicates that supposedly threaten their lives. The entrapment against the lawyer, along with his paralegal,
