National Guard soldier and friend gunned down while spreading beloved dog’s ashes

Dustin Rose, 19, a member of the South Carolina National Guard and cadet at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, and Samson Campbell, 18, who lived in Chicago, were in DeLand, Florida to spread Campbell's beloved dog's ashes when both were shot to death in a vacant lot.
