National Education Policy 2020 not approved in Kerala, clarifies KSHEC

Nair The Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) has dismissed as baseless reports that a committee appointed by the council has recommended or approved the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in Kerala.In a statement, council vice-chairperson Achuthsankar S. Nair clarified that the committee was constituted to recommend immediate corrections and modifications to the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP), which has been under implementation in the State for the past three years.He asserted that the committee does not have the authority to take policy decisions such as approving the NEP 2020.
