Naidu urges TDP leaders to prepare for local body polls

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called upon the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) machinery to gear up for the local body elections and aim to achieve a ‘strike rate’ better than the one registered in the 2024 Assembly polls. Addressing a meeting of Ministers and TDP’s zonal observers at his camp office after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday, Mr. Naidu said: “The upcoming local body elections is an opportunity to analyse the party’s performance.” He noted that this would be the first time that the TDP would contest the local body elections alongside its alliance partners BJP and Jana Sena Party.
