Mymensingh man hacked to death in broad daylight

A man was hacked to death in broad daylight in Mymensingh's Maskanda area this noon.The victim was identified as Md Rabbi, 30, son of Mobarak Hossain of Maskanda, said police.Quoting local people, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, additional superintendent of police (Administration) in Mymensingh, said Rabbi was attacked with sharp weapons in public at around 12:00pm, leaving him critically injured.Locals rescued him and took him to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital morgue for autopsy.The additional SP said police primarily suspected that previous enmity may have been behind the killing.No case has been lodged and no one has been arrested in connection with the incident yet.
