Motorists warned after crash closes M8 section near Edinburgh

It does not necessarily reflect the view of The Herald. Drivers are being warned of disruption on the M8 after a road traffic incident led to lanes being closed on the eastbound carriageway. Traffic Scotland reported the incident at 11.43am on Saturday, with the motorway remaining restricted at Junction 1, near the Hermiston Gait interchange.
