Traffic had come to a standstill near Lakeside, towards the Dartford Crossing on July 16, with drivers waiting for several hours. The road in the opposite direction was empty, leaving the motorcyclist shocked when they were forced to emergency stop to avoid a lorry going the wrong way. ‘As an experienced rider, I always expect the unexpected, and I expected cars doing U-turns.
