Motorcyclist killed in Loop collision with car, 1 in custody

The 25-year-old driver of a car that hit and killed a woman riding a motorcycle was arrested after the late Wednesday crash in the Loop. Charges are pending but have been announced by police early Thursday. The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 400 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive as the southbound car crashed into the motorcycle, which was also southbound.
