Mother’s shock after young man stabbed to death in front of children inside London council HQ lobby

(Picture: Ray Tang/LNP) A man has been stabbed to death just yards away from a council headquarters close to Wembley Stadium. The knife attack took place at the Brent Civic Centre at 2.25pm on Tuesday. Council workers were evacuated from their offices, as well as people from the library. One mother taking her son to an appointment at the council offices told Metro: ‘I was walking down the building and he was literally downstairs in between the library and the foyer. ‘I still feel quite numb because there were many young children around the area when this happened and I cannot stop thinking about how traumatised they may have been. ‘My son saw a female ambulance crew member in tears
