Morgan Freeman Says He’ll Take a Movie With a “Mediocre” Script If the Pay Is Good Enough

Morgan Freeman isn’t waiting around for the perfect script. The Oscar winner recently told The New York Times that if the paycheck is big enough, he’s willing to overlook a few problems with a movie’s screenplay. “If somebody offers you a job, it’s very nice if they’re offering you also an exciting script, but in reality, two or three things come into play,” Freeman explained. “What are they going to pay you? If they’re going to pay you enough, then you overlook some of the glitches in the script that happen to be there.” Fair enough.
