Mobileye founder Shashua plans to step down as CEO

23 Jul 2026 06:51PM July 23 : Mobileye Global said on Thursday that founder Amnon Shashua plans to step down as chief executive officer once a successor is appointed, as the autonomous driving technology maker launched a search for its next leader.The board will hire an executive search firm to select a new CEO, Mobileye said. Shashua will remain a director and has been offered the chairman role once a successor is in place. Shares were up 8 per cent in premarket trading.Mobileye also reported second-quarter revenue of $508 million, beating LSEG estimates of $481.24 million, helped by what CEO Amnon Shashua described as "strong momentum" in the company's core business as it prepares for a number of advanced product launches in late 2026 and throughout 2027.
