Missing customs guard’s body found dismembered in Mymensingh pond

Police today recovered the dismembered body of a Customs Security Branch guard from a pond in Phulbaria upazila of Mymensingh.The victim was identified as Rakib Raihan Talukdar, 40. He had been serving as a guard in the Customs Security Branch in Dhaka's Kamalapur, police said.His remains were found stuffed into three travel bags and a sack in a pond near his village home.Mashiur Rahman, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Phulbaria Police Station, said Rakib used to return home every Thursday and leave for work on Saturday. He went missing around 5:00pm on July 24 after leaving home. His family searched for him but failed to trace him.
