Missiles thrown at police as ‘rival youth factions’ face-off in east Belfast
A number of “missiles” were thrown at police during disorder involving “rival factions” of youths in east Belfast on Friday. Police said the groups of young people gathered in the Bryson Street and Pitt Park areas on the evening of August 21, and that they were throwing “bottles and stones” at each other.
