Minneapolis shooting suspect Carlton Johnson II allegedly threatened to gun down ex-girlfriend, ‘kill someone’ as he faced eviction
A suspected gunman accused of shooting dead two people at his Minneapolis apartment complex allegedly told residents he would “kill someone” and previously threatened to gun down his ex-girlfriend. Carlton Johnson II, 35, clashed with residents at Shoreline Plaza, where he allegedly assaulted one person, and showed off his gun in several incidents this year over a six-month time frame, the Minnesota Star Tribune reported. He was slapped with an eviction notice and faced a hearing on September 11 — nine days before Wednesday’s rampage. Johnson allegedly killed two people and injured six – including three cops – before reportedly taking his own life.
