Minibus services on Chattogram’s Route-3, which operates between New Market and Oxygen, remained suspended from this morning as operators demanded a revision of fares, causing widespread suffering to commuters.No buses on the route were seen operating until noon, forcing passengers to use alternative modes of transport, often at higher costs.Sagar Sen, a passenger in New Market area bound for Kazir Dewri intersection, said, “Like every other day, I went to catch a bus from New Market this morning but could not find one.”He added, “Minibuses are the only form of public transport operating on this route.
