Mets Double-A prospect on unreal five-homer tear since being acquired at trade deadline

Billy Amick has already made a name for himself. The Mets prospect has continued his tear in Double-A since joining the Mets organization, hitting his fifth home run in seven games in the Rumble Ponies’ 4-3 win over the Hartford Yard Goats on Sunday. The infielder joined the Mets organization on July 31 when he was acquired as part of the deal that sent pitcher A.J. Minter to the Twins. His three-run blast on Sunday came in the sixth inning and broke a 1-1 tie that put the Rumble Ponies up 4-1 at the time. He also has 13 RBIs for the Rumble Ponies.
