Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) says works are due to take place at Deansgate-Castlefield, Trafford Bar and along the Eccles line.‌As a result, no trams will run on the Eccles, Altrincham or Trafford Centre lines. Services on the Manchester Airport and East Didsbury lines will terminate at Firswood, and will not continue into Manchester city centre as normal.‌The major works will begin on Monday, July 13, and continue for three weeks - with normal service expected to resume on Monday, August 3.
