Meta's highest paid employee Alexandr Wang is 'unfollowed' by Elon Musk

Elon Musk appears to have unfollowed Meta AI chief Alexandr Wang on X (formerly Twitter), according to a user on the platform. X user BigTechAlert shared a post that said: “@elonmusk is no longer following @alexandr_wang”. In the post, the user also shared a screenshot of profile of both the leaders – Elon Musk and Alexandr Wang. The post caught the attention of Meta's highest-paid employee who responded with a lighthearted “um can’t we all be friends” reply. The unfollow coincides with intensifying AI competition, including Meta's recent Muse Spark 1.1 model release that Wang claims outperforms Grok 4.5 on certain evaluations.
