It will be the third heat surge so far this year, as many regions reached extreme temperatures back in May and June. The forecaster said this heatwave will feel different to previous in its outlook for this week.‌Temperatures have started to rise after a mild start to the month. South east England has now officially met the heatwave criteria, after three days of temperatures above 28C, according to the Met Office.‌Some areas could reach 35C this week, and the forecaster said other areas of the UK could soon reach heatwave threshold.‌A north-south divide will be visible
