Merseyside college celebrates reaching 'new heights' on A-Level results day

'Well done the class of 2026, you've done us proud!'15:27, 13 Aug 2026A Merseyside college has "blown it out of the park" with a record set of A-Level results today. A remarkable 94% of the students at Birkenhead Sixth Form have been offered a place at university and the ECHO was there to see delighted students open their results.‌Those celebrating included Jack Chesters who has secured an incredible set of grades. Jack's A*AAA will be taking him off to Edinburgh where he will be studying environmental sciences.‌Another student at the college, Chisom Ugwu, is going to be studying medicine at Keel University after getting A*AAB.
