NZX-listed Mercury NZ says it has invested US$30 million ($53 million) on taking a 12.7% stake in Datagrid NZ, the company planning to build a huge data centre in Southland. Mercury, just over half-owned by the Government, said the move would strengthen its position alongside one of New Zealand’s biggest
