MBA, MCA aspirants seek special phase of ICET counselling

Thousands of MBA and MCA aspirants in the State are urging the government and the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) to conduct a special phase of ICET counselling, over undeclared revaluation results by Osmania University and many seats being left vacant.Students claim that the official portal — tgicet.nic.in — shows 16,413 convener seats vacant across MBA and MCA courses in the State. Despite the availability of these seats, the counselling process is reportedly being closed without providing the special phase to eligible candidates, they claim.The situation is particularly difficult for candidates awaiting Osmania University degree revaluation and recounting results.
