Mattarella stopped Salvini returning as interior minister says Leaguer
President Sergio Mattarella stopped Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini from returning to his former post as interior minister after his acquittal in a migrant boat kidnap case made it possible for him to move from the transport ministry last year, a leading member of his right-wing League party said Tuesday.
