Mariners sign veteran infielder who has already played for Mets and Athletics this season

The Seattle Mariners have signed a veteran infielder to a minor league contract. According to Francys Romero, Andy Ibanez has agreed to a minor league deal with the AL West club. The Mariners are Ibanez's third organization of the season. He began the year with the Athletics but hit .118 in 18 plate appearances before being designated for assignment.
